Are you ready to lead and encourage? As a Senior Manager - HRBP at AstraZeneca, you'll provide HR leadership and drive strategic workforce planning aligned with our business strategy. Collaborate closely with the Leadership team as a trusted HR Partner, mentor and consulting leaders to deepen their understanding of key People Issues. You'll work alongside HR COEs and Global HRBPs to align with AstraZeneca's People Processes and deliver on HR priorities. Are you prepared to build strong, cohesive, and engaged teams?
Accountabilities
What you'll do:
- Implement the people plan focusing on strategic support for business change and organizational shaping.
- Drive talent development and succession planning.
- Provide leadership mentor, organizational and team efficiency.
- Develop learning and development strategies to meet business requirements.
- Lead OD, I&D, culture, and employee engagement strategies.
- Collaborate with Leadership to understand business priorities and deliver Strategic Workforce Plan, Talent Strategy, Succession planning, and skills assessment.
- Lead the people elements of change programs and projects, prioritizing the delivery of the company’s people strategy.
- Ensure effective policy and process activity delivery, providing advice and support to the business.
- Develop strong trusted advisor relationships with business & HR colleagues to foster professional development and handle performance optimally.
- Drive strategic workforce planning activities, holding the business accountable for attracting, developing, and retaining key talent.
- Analyze business unit data to identify trends and recommend solutions for performance improvement, retention, and employee experience.
- Lead continuous improvement in client organization and leadership review processes focusing on performance management and talent development.
- Work closely with COEs to deliver on BCR Succession Development RoadMap and Capability Development priorities.
- Collaborate and coach managers on AZ Performance Framework, driving performance discussions, and addressing underperformance.
- Develop a culture of recognition aligned with AstraZeneca Values.
- Lead Pulse Survey & Culture transformation agenda, ensuring employee participation and action planning with Leadership.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Strong business acumen regarding AZ operations, business strategies, financial, and commercial considerations shaping HR plans.
- Proficiency in people data analytics for insights and decision-making.
- 15+ years post qualification HR experience with a minimum of 6 years in Business partnering.
- Postgraduate Degree/MBA in HR from a reputable institute.
- Critical thinking in deploying HR interventions.
- Ability to design and deliver HR solutions aligned with business priorities.
- Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders and ability to influence change.
